Wilts & Dorset Unveil Ninja Bus

A LOCAL bus company have announced they are in possession of the world's first Ninja bus.

Wilts & Dorset confirmed the existence of the unusual bus after reports came in of a 'ghost bus' running between the Fiveways Inn and Charminster. Steven Mold, a local resident told us: "A 6:14 service runs from the Fiveways to Charminster according to the electronic timetable;
however no bus has ever been seen… and just as well as it’d be running towards Castlepoint when Charminster is in the opposite direction."

It was only when the Bournemouth Bubble pressed Wilts & Dorset that they finally admitted that they have been trialling the world's first Ninja bus. Company spokesman Mary Anderson said that the new style bus would increase timekeeping on the route: "We can confirm that we have been running a Ninja bus on our M1 route during the early morning period. The bus is not visible to passengers due to its speed and agility, so they are less likely to slow it down and delay the bus by getting on and off."

"The trial has been successful, and passengers will notice the ninja bus has been on other routes too - although we do find it works best on the M1 route."

Passengers are also enthusiastic about the new bus. One person we spoke to thought it was a wonderful idea: "It will certainly help them keep that bus on time. It's supposed to come every ten minutes, but thanks to the wonderful new ninja bus, I've been here half an hour. Bugger me, it's cold."

The town's other major bus company, Transdev Yellow Buses are planning to compete by introducing the town's first pirate bus. The trial begins on route 3, and will involve regular stops to raid other buses.
