Charminster Call to Rapper: It's Also Not Like England Here

THE PEOPLE of Charminster today told rapper Tinie Tempah that he may find their suburb cheaper than Sandbanks, but just as good.

A letter, put together by several local residents, came after the London-born rapper, who I've only vaguely heard of too, said that he loved Poole's high profile Sandbanks area because "I didn't believe I was in England".

Charminster resident Zahil al-Wahid, who put together the letter, said that Charminster was everything Tempah loves about Sandbanks, but without the high cost of living: "If the most wonderful thing about Sandbanks is that it's not like being in England, Tinie will love Charminster. Sometimes you completely forget that this is part of the UK. And houses are much cheaper here, so he can spend the money he saves in our local bazaar."

Al-Wahid's co-author, Piotr Dzewasziewsky echoed his neighbour's sentiments: "We want him to come and live here. He'll love it, it's a Daily Mail reader's worst nightmare - everyone in my street was born outside the UK."

But a spokesman for Tempah told us: "Tinie appreciates the invitation from Charminster, and welcomes the opportunity to live somewhere that's more upmarket than his current South London home. But compared to Sandbanks, Charminster is a bit crap."
