Homeless Man in Student Flat 'Shocked by Quality of Food'
A HOMELESS man found eating in a student flat has spoken out at the 'appalling' quality of the food he stole. The man, who sneaked into the building un-noticed, was in the flat for 20 minutes, during which he ate a Pot Noodle, and the leftovers from dinner the previous night. He said both were very much below par: "The Pot Noodle was bad enough. Really, I can't understand why anyone would eat it. It tasted of...well, nothing, and was undercooked. As for the other stuff. I've eaten tastier things off the pavement. It was absolutely appalling."
Yum
"The service was bad. I had to wait nearly half an hour before anyone noticed me, and when they did, they were so rude. I just upped and left. I didn't pay of course. I would not recommend it to anyone."
The student who owned the flat, meanwhile, defended her food: "There was nothing wrong with it, I eat it all the time. It may not be up to Michelin star standards, but we cater for tramps who want to break in and have a hearty meal, not royalty."
"I'm sorry this gentleman was unhappy, but let's face it. You break into a student apartment for food, and you're going to be disappointed."
